These artworks by Gary Patterson and Marion Barnes are created using a unique new technique. The main design is sketched by the artists, then transferred to canvas. The artists then paint the canvas using acrylics and in some cases collage, in order to complete the work. Each piece, therefore, is produced as a multiple series of paintings, as in a series of monotypes. Each is very similar, but will have subtle differences in colors and backgrounds. Each is signed by the artists.
